Believe & Become

Phase 1

Believe & Become is an ambitious, two-phased project to expand and renovate the existing facility on Middlesex Street into a state-of-the-art facility that will provide programs and services for up to 600 kids and teens each day.

Due to the scope and size of the renovation and expansion project at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell, the project has been divided into several phases. Phase 1 encompasses the reclamation of an unused pool, as well as the expansion of the Club’s footprint with the addition of a Teen Center. The cost to complete Phase 1 is $17M of the overall Believe & Become campaign goal of $23.5M.

Much of the work of Phase 1 has been completed – over $14.2M has been raised thus far to support this phase. However, we must reach our goal of $17M raised by July 31st in order to secure bank loans and avoid costly delays in construction.

Please consider making a gift to the Believe & Become campaign today to ensure that we are able to meet our goal of raising $17M total by July 31st.

Over $14.2M has been raised to date, primarily through the generosity of community members like you. Your gift will help ensure that Phase 1 is able to be completed on time without costly delays.

You can make your gift via credit card, ACH, Paypal, Venmo or check. We also accept gifts of stock and donor advised funds. Click here for more information on ways to give and naming opportunities.
